Open Water + Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Requirements: At least 10 years old, in good health, not afraid of water.

• For age 45 yrs old and above, diver medical form with doctor’s approval is required.
• Minimum 18 hours of resting after scuba diving is required before taking flight.
• Instructor will help to take some underwater photos/videos during boat dive.

Course Arrangement

Day 1

• Travel to Kampung Paya, Tioman Island via ferry, We recommend taking the 11am ferry. Approximatearrival will be 1pm (please try not to arrival Paya after 2pm), lunch and check in. 3pm gather at the dive centre for theory course and equipment introduction. 5-6pm, snorkelling lesson. After dinner, theory and knowledge session.

Day 2

• Gather at dive shop at 8.30am after breakfast, start confined water course (approximately 3 dives a day) to help your body familiar with the feeling of weightlessness underwater. After dinner, theory and knowledge session.

Day 3

• After breakfast,continue open water course and practice skills that have learned. Afternoon, open water boat dives. Evernign or night,exam and course ompletion.Instructor will assist in taking some underwater photos/videos. (Certification is typically awared on the third night)

Day 4

• (There are 5 dives for AOW course) start with a theory class,followed by a session of refresh or pratice your skills.Night dive after dinner (if opt for night dive). Continue theory class at night.

Day 5

• Gather at dive centre at 830am after breakfast. The boat depart at 8:45am for 2 training dives. Returning to the dive centre around 12.30pm to 1pm for lunch and rest.In the afternoon will have 1 training dive.Course completed.

Day 6

• Return home, any ferry timing is fined.
